inp.polri.go.id – Serang. Following earthquake that rocked Banten with a magnitude of 5.5, the Police immediately monitored a number of locations.
From the results of observation by the Bayah Police, Lebak Regency, together with Tagana, it was reported thera are no damage to houses, injuries or fatalities were found.
"As of 18.15 WIB, we found there are no damaged buildings, injured residents, sea waves was in normal condition as well as," explained the Head of Public Relations (Kabidhumas) of the Banten Police (Polda Banten), AKBP Shinto Silitonga.
Observation were carried out by Polri personnel in Lebak Regency and as aforementioned, there was no damage to the houses or any injured victims due to the earthquake.
Kabidhumas Banten Police said that the Panggarangan Police Chief and his personnel also inspected the conditions and situations after the earthquake occurred.
It was informed that the earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 was not only felt in the Banten area. The earthquake was felt as far as Jakarta, Depok and Sukabumi.
