Papua – Binmas Noken (Noken Community Development Unit) of National Police is a special programme that aims to maintain public security and order humanely and to use preventive measures to accelerate development and enhance economic growth in Papua.
Another innovation is shown by the Binmas Noken of Keerom, Papua. Through the PEKA programme (Care about Public Safety and Order), on Monday (16/8/2021), Police Commissioner Attendant Mujiat, together with Police Chief Brigadier Abdul and Police Brigadier 1st Class Rahmat Fajar, and the personnel of Binmas Noken, visited Walma village, Skanto district, Keerom Regency, and interacted with the village head to discuss public security and order and PON XX event which will commence in Papua.
Police Commissioner Attendant Mujiat delivered the message on public security and order. "Let's together maintain security in Keerom regency and do not to be provoked by KKB (Armed Criminal Groups) and other organisations that could shatter our Indonesian unity".
Binmas Noken also reminds people to be aware of Covid-19 by adhering to Health Protocols to avoid the Coronavirus.
The talk later continued to national flag distributions in commemorating the 76th Indonesian independence day celebration across the nation.
