Concerned With the Victims in Cianjur, Yogyakarta Police Gathered Funds to be Sent to the Refugees

Yogyakarta Police sent humanitarian aid as their concern and support for people affected by the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java.

The Head of Yogyakarta Police, Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan directly led the release of the Yogyakarta Police humanitarian aid group to Cianjur earthquake at the Yogyakarta Police Headquarters lobby, Saturday (11/26/22).

A few days ago, he stated that the Yogyakarta Regional Police will provide humanitarian assistance for landslide victims in Semin, Gunungkidul.

"Today I am sending off the aids for earthquake victims in Cianjur, West Java. We must be grateful because we are still given the opportunity to share with our brothers and sisters in Cianjur, and we pray for the group to bring this token of our love safely," explained the regional police chief.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Yogyakarta Police, Commissioner Yuliyanto, when confirmed, said that Inspector General Suwondo, on behalf of the entire Yogyakarta Police family, conveys their deep condolences over the disaster.

"The humanitarian assistance that was dispatched today include food, clothing, cooking utensils, and other materials. Hopefully this can be useful for people affected by the earthquake in Cianjur," prayed the Head of Public Relations of Yogyakarta Police.
