Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Ensuring the safety of Christmas and New Year Eve, the Head of National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi, along with the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, have inspected traffic situations by air in several prone points at Bakauheni Port, Lampung and Merak Port, Banten, Saturday (12/24).
He says that his party have coordinated with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing to anticipate crowding at Merak Port.
“From Jakarta to Merak at KM 43 and 68 have been secured by the Ministries for ticketing that usually queued in Banten are able to be suppressed, so that the traffics in Banten could move,” says the Head of the National Traffic Corps.
“For the people who are about to go to Port, make sure yo have bought the tickets so you would just need to wait. I would like to say once again to our media colleagues, although we have informed thie community through our press release, we truly hope that the information could be received to the community with your help,” add the National Police Traffic Corps, quoted from ntmcpolri.info.
He also says that the success of Lilin Operation 2022, there needs to be a coordination from the government and the community. The operation itself begins from December 23rd, 2022, to January 2nd, 2023.
