Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The National Police Traffic Corps will prepare temporary rest areas at several toll exits during Christmas and New Year Eve celebrations. Those rest areas will also be evaluated by the government.
The Head of Audit and Inspection Sub-Directorate of Police Traffic Corps, Commissioner Aries Syahbudin, explained that rest area have become one of the main factors of traffic jams in toll roads and they have also posted an issuance to not occupy rest area for more than 30 minutes.
“Our implore is to be wise in using the rest area. There are others who wants to use it,” says Commissioner Aries Syahbudin, as quoted from ntmcpolri.com, Monday (12/19).
Commissioner Aries Syahbudin reveals that the temporary rest area would be prepared at the toll exits. For that, he asked the people not to force themselves on the rest area that have already been full.
“So, if the nearest rest area had closed, you can go further to the nearest toll exits. We have prepared a temporary rest area for you,” said Commissioner Aries in his explanation.
