Papuan Police Works Fast on Handling Double O Incident

Previously, the West Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Dr. Tornagogo Sihombing, S.I.K., M.Sc., confirmed that the two groups involved in the clashes in Sorong had reached an amicable agreement and handed over the full legal process to the police.

The Papuan Police Chief added that currently, reconciliation has been carried out between the victim's and victim's families to match DNA samples, and the identification team has visited the victim's boarding house or residence for Ante Mortem matching. "DNA samples of all the victims have been sent to the Puslabfor Jakarta for further identification. From the temporary post-mortem identification, 5 victims and their families have matched their identities," concluded the Kapolda.
