Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jayapura. The Papuan Regional Police carry out the Declaration of Integrity Zone Development Towards a corruption-free Territory (WBK) and a Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM).
The activity was led directly by the Papuan Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhri, and attended by the Chairman of Financial and Development Supervisory Agency Papua Province, Mr. Tonny Supit, Regional Inspectorate and Supervision (Irwasda) Papua Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Alfred Papare, Papuan Regional Police Chief Officials, Coordinator of General Crime, Musafir M (Representing High Court), Lieutenant Colonel Arm. I Made M.Y (Representing Military District Command XVII/Cenderawasih) and the Work Unit of National Police at the Samara Rastra Hall, Thursday (06/24/21).
In his speech, the Papuan Regional Police Chief said that the implementation of this declaration was simultaneously carried out by the entire Papua Regional Police's Work Unit as well as 18 line pf police stations, namely the Keerom Police, Sarmi Police, Jayawijaya Police, Yahukimo Police, Puncak Jaya Police, Tolikara Police, Bintang Mountains Police, Lanny Jaya Police, Mamberamo Police. Central, Mamberamo Raya Police, Asmat Police, Mappi Police, Boven Digoel Police, Mimika Police, Paniai Police, Supiori Police, Yapen Islands Police and Waropen Police.
Pol. Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, said that until 2020 the number of Work Unit/Regional Unit of National Police that has received the corruption-free Territory and Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area predicate is 139 with details 121 Corruption-Free Territories predicate and 18 Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area predicates. As for the Papuan Regional Police, only one National Police Headquarter has achieved the corruption-free Territory title, namely the Jayapura National Police.
The success of developing an integrity zone is largely determined by the capacity and quality of integrity of each individual who has relevance to the organization.
Integrity zone is a predicate given to government agencies that are committed to realizing a Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) through bureaucratic reform, especially in preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services.
The declaration of the development of an integrity zone is one of the stages in the process of developing an integrity zone towards Corruption Free Area and Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area towards a system of good, effective, efficient governance and excellent service and free from corruption as stated in the Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 55 yrs. 2012 concerning the National Strategy for Long-Term Corruption Prevention in 2012-2025.
The Two-Star General really hopes that what is being carried out, in the future, will spur the spirit of Chairman of Work Unit and Chairman of Regional Unit along with line personnel in providing support and synergy in carrying out the task of realizing the development of an integrity zone in the hope that it can increase to get the predicate of Corruption Free Area (WBK) and Territory.
