Papuan Mothers and Young Generation of Mamberamo Draped in Red and White Together

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Papua. The celebration of the 76th Indonesian independence day is also reflected on the eastern side of the archipelago: in Papua.

On Monday (16/8/2021), personnel of Binmas Noken (Noken Community Development Unit) of Papua of Central Mamberamo region conducted the KASUARI programme (Welfare for the People).

Led by Police Inspector 1st Class Yustinus Wundu and other six personnel, Binmas Noken visited the houses of village's figures and chief of Kobakma city and continued to Central Mamberamo to the house of Mr As Dabi, continued to the house of the Head of Traditional Community Institution, Kobakma village office, head of Dogle village, and villagers of Gimbis to discuss on public security and order and distributes national flags.

Regional Coordinator of Binmas Noken Task Force of Central Mamberamo, Police Inspector 1st Class Yustinus Wundu, delivered messages of public security and order. Yustinus also said that the distribution of national flags is the form of care from the Police to the community figures and people of Central Mamberamo in commemorating the 76th Indonesian independence anniversary.

"Let's together maintain security in Kobakma city and do not to be provoked by KKB (Armed Criminal Groups) and other organisations that could shatter our Indonesian unity".

Yustinus also reminds people to stay healthy and adhering to Health Protocols to avoid the Coronavirus.

The community leaders and village heads are enthusiastic about the visit and aid from the Binmas Noken Task Force of Central Mamberamo. The community figure said that they are ready to hand-in-hand with the Police to maintain security in Central Mamberamo and not to be provoked by opposite groups who want to separate Papua from the Republic of Indonesia and disturb the security of Kobakma city.
