Jayapura - Papuan clergy, Rev. Niko Mauri, asked Victor Yeimo to obey the law. He said that the case that befallen Victor is God's reprimand for changing his old behaviour and returning to the right path.
The reverend said that on Sunday (29/08/2021) in Jayapura when he was asked about his statement related to cases of Victor Yeimo so he has to face the law.
According to Rev. Niko Mauri, Victor Yeimo, who is being detained due to his case, is experiencing God's calling for repenting and return to the right path.
"As people with faith, we pray so Mr Victor Yeimo could dedicate his time to positively think, talk, and act as the son of God because Victor Yeimo is, I believe, a son of God and inside him flows the Holy Spirit so someday he could be a Victor Yeimo who could rely on God in his life", he said.
He added that the case face by Victor Yeimo is a God's reprimand for him to change his old habit into a new human for building a better Papua with the government.
