More than 300 joint personnel from Bangkalan security forces have been patroling routinely to ensure that the situation ahead of New Year Eve is well maintained in tourist places and destinations.
Those hundreds of personnel have been dispatched to security posts, two monitoring posts, and service posts in four different locations.
Bangkalan Police Chief, AKBP Wiwit Ari Wibisono expects the 321 personnel could move dynamically and coordinated in their mission of Lilin Semeru Operation so that the situation in 18 districts could be well maintained.
“All personnel that have been tasked to carry out this mission are expected to secure and monitor the area to ensure its safety and order,” says Bangkalan Police Chief, quoted from memorandum.co.id.
Currently, atleast there more than 600 joint personnel from police, military, and government are involved in Lilin Semeru Operation until January 2nd, 2023.
