Odd-Even System in Jakarta Still Valid on Weekends

Tribratanews.polri.go.id-Jakarta. Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police through the Decree of the Jakarta Transportation Service Number 320 of 2021 which was issued last August 10, has again implemented the odd-even system.

As is known, the odd-even implementation for private cars will be carried out following the extension of Community Activity Restrictions Level 4 which will last until August 16, 2021 tomorrow.

The odd-even rule that was implemented at eight points in Jakarta will also remain in effect on weekends. The odd-even rule starts from 06.00 AM to 08.00 PM. However, this rule does not apply to two-wheeled vehicles or motorcycles.

Here are eight odd-even mobility control points:
Sudirman street
MH Thanrin Street
Merdeka Barat Street
Majapahit Street
Gajah Mada Street
Hayam Wuruk Street
Pintu Besar Selatan
Gatot Subroto street

The following is a list of eight vehicles that are not subject to the odd-even rule, namely:
1. Vehicles that carry people with disabilities
2. Ambulance
3. Fire fighting vehicles
4. Public transport vehicles (yellow plates)
5. Vehicles driven by electric motors
6. Motorcycles
7. Special goods transport vehicles for oil fuel and gas fuel
8. Vehicles for the leadership of the State High Institutions of the Republic of Indonesia, namely:
President/Vice President
Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly / People's Representative Council / Regional Representative Council.
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court/Constitutional Court/Judicial Commission/Financial Audit Board.
Operational Service Vehicles with official plates, National Armed Forces and National Police.
Vehicle Leaders and Officials of Foreign Countries and International Institutions who are state guests.
Vehicles to provide assistance in traffic accidents.
Vehicles for certain purposes according to the consideration of Polri officers, such as Money Transporting vehicles (Bank Indonesia, interbank, ATM filling) with supervision from the National Police.
Vehicles for health workers handling Covid-19 during the national disaster management period caused by the spread of COVID-19.
Covid-19 patient mobilization vehicle.
Covid-19 vaccine mobilization vehicle.
