North Sumatra Regional Police Provide Social Assistance to Communities Affected by Floods in Nias

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Nias. As a form of concern for the community who experienced the flood disaster in Nias, the North Sumatra Regional Police provided social assistance. The social assistance was directly distributed by the Nias Police to the community in Nias.

Nias Police Chief, Pol. Grand Commissioner Wawan Iriawan, said the Social Assistance for the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief and the Head of the North Sumatra Regional Bhayangkari which was distributed as a form of the Regional Police Chief's concern to help relieve flood-affected communities in North Nias.

"This is a form of concern for the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief and Bhayangkari to residents who experience disasters," explained the Nias Police Chief.

On this occasion, it was distributed to the Disaster Command Post in Awaai Dusun II Elementary School, Hilimbosi Village, North Nias Ori Sitolu district in the form of Indomie, Mask Box and Food Packages received by the local sub-district head.

"Currently there are four shelter posts, Command Post 1 in Awa'ai 61 Elementary School families, Command Post 2 in Pekan Awa'ai 102 families, Command Post 3 at the Awa'ai intersection 60 families and Command Post 4 in Zari-zari 105 families with a total number of 328 families of flood victims." said the Nias Police Chief.
