A joint team from the North Sumatra Regional Police's Drug Investigation Unit together with the Asahan Resort Police's Drug Investigation Unit managed to arrest drug traffickers in Sei Tualang Raso District, Tanjungbalai City. From the arrest, the police managed to secure evidence of 28,003.32 grams of methamphetamine.

The Asahan Resort Police Chief explained that from the development of this case, the police assigned two people to the Asahan Resort Police Wanted List (DPO). Because from NT, there are two more people who own the illicit goods.

"After weighing, the result is 28003, 32 grams, while laboratory testing is still ongoing, and we are still waiting for the results," explained the Asahan Resort Police Chief.
In addition, the Resort Police Chief conveyed the role of NT as a repository of Narcotics Evidence (BB) of the type of Shabu 28003, 32 grams, and the owners were the two peoples at Wanted List. The total items stored by NT were 69 packages, where before the raid, 42 packages had been released, based on information from NT.
