North Sulawesi Regional Police Received Aid and Would be Distributed to People Affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Manado.Bintang Internasional Ltd. gave the aid of 1,000 basic necessities packages to North Sulawesi Regional Police on Tuesday morning (03/08/2021) at the North Sulawesi Regional Police Headquarter.
The aid was symbolically handed by the Director of Bintang Internasional Ltd., Andi Gunawan Horas, and the Commissioner, Randy Gunawan Horas, to the Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nana Sujana, accompanied by Deputy Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Rudi Darmoko.
The aids are consist of 5,000 kg of rice, 1,000 kg of sugar, 1,000 litres of cooking oil, and 250 boxes of instant noodles.
Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police thanked and appreciated Bintang Internasional Ltd, who gave the aid packages.
"This aid would be distributed to the people, mainly the ones economically impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic", Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police said.
The aid handover is one of the implementations of the Empathy Building programme initiated by the Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police.
The two-star general said that the Empathy Building programme is the tangible form of care and solidarity towards the public in the middle of the pandemic, considering many people exposed to Coronavirus and lose their job.
"Therefore, we encourage and embrace the public, mainly from middle-upper income segments, to help people affected by the pandemic. The Empathy Building programme would also be conducted at City Departmental, Departmental, and even Sectoral Police level", Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police said.
Related to the relatively significant Covid-19 rising cases, the Chief of Regional Police said that Police would keep in synergy with Armed Forces, Regional Governments, and associated stakeholders to encourage the public to adhere to Health Protocols. "Let us adhere to 5M: wearing face masks, washing hands, keeping the distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility", Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police encouraged
