North Maluku Regional Police Holds Social Assistance to Help Communities Affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic and Community Activity Restrictions

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Ternate. Lighten the burden on the community in North Maluku Province due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of Community Activity Restrictions, the North Maluku Regional Police carry out Social Service.

This time the North Maluku Regional Police distributed assistance to students in collaboration with the Student Executive Board (BEM) of Khairun Ternate University, located at the Nuku Hall Unkhair Ternate, Monday (08/09/2021).

This assistance was symbolically handed over to the North Maluku Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Risyapudin Nursin, to the students of the University of Khairun Ternate who need it in the hope of easing the burden while migrating and studying in Ternate City during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The handover of the social assistance was also attended by the Acting Chancellor of Unkhair, the Directorate of Security Intelligence and the Head of North Maluku Regional Police's Public Relation.

The two-star general explained that the presence of the National Police is here to fill the empty space that has not been touched by assistance.

"Those who are affected by Covid-19 are not only workers or those who are already productive, but students are also affected, where parents/families also experience the impact of work, so we are here to provide social attention," explained the North Maluku Regional Police Chief.

The North Maluku Regional Police Chief also invited all students and all parties to play an active role in the success of the acceleration of vaccination in North Maluku.

“The Ternate City Government has opened 11 Health Centers including the North Maluku Regional Police as well as opening vaccine booths at the Ternate Police Hall and Bhayangkara Hospital. For this reason, we invite the entire community to jointly carry out vaccinations at the designated places, "explained the North Maluku Regional Police Chief.

The two-star general also said that in order to welcome the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the Government is implementing an acceleration of vaccination, therefore it needs support from the entire community, stakeholders and other parties.
