North Maluku Regional Police Distributed Packages of Nine-Basic-Needs to Communities Affected by Covid-19

North Maluku Regional Police together with Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) distributed packages of nine-basic-needs to employees who were laid off and journalists undergoing independent isolation and underprivileged community affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

Deputy Chief of North Maluku Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Eko Para Setyo Siswanto, said today's activity is very useful to help people who have not been reached by social assistance program.

"I hope IMM Management can together with me go down directly to implement health protocols and distribute social assistance for community," the One Star General explained.

Deputy Chief of North Maluku Regional Police hopes to encourage public to be aware of health protocols, especially the use of masks.

Meanwhile, atn the same place, Head of Public Affairs of North Maluku Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Adip Rodjikan said this time, 100 packages of social assistance were handed over to employees who were laid off or and journalists who were in isolation and underpriviliged people.

"With this activity, Head of Public Affairs of North Maluku Regional Police would like to thank and appreciate students who are member of IMM for their active participation and positive contributions in this assistance activity," Police Grand Commissioner Adip Rodjikan said.

Head of Public Affairs of North Maluku Regional Police said the distribution of nine-basic-needs is for people affected by Covid-19 during PPKM (Community Activity Restriction).

The 80 packages distributed are expected to be useful for community. North Maluku Regional Police also believes there are still many people out there who need help.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief of North Maluku Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Eko Para Setyo Siswanto said for this time North Maluku Regional Police and members of the press provided food packages to people affected by COVID-19.

In addition, Deputy Chief of North Maluku Regional Police hopes in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, education and socialization about Covid-19 are very important. It is expected media can also encourage public to be aware of health protocols, especially the use of masks.
