Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Ternate. North Maluku Regional Police impemented large-scale patrol to follow up the Instruction of Minister of Home Affairs. Police personnels deployment will be carried out in Covid-19 Red Zone area which implements micro PPKM (community activity restrictions).
"In Ternate City area, there are still red zones at sub-district scale Micro PPKM level, such as in Kalumata, Kalumpang and Siko sub-district. Meanwhile, the orange zone is still 43 sub-districts and yellow zone is 12 out of 78 sub-districts. Ternate will continue to be controlled, especially in terms of discipline in applying health protocols," Head of Operation Bureau of North Maluku Regional Police explained, Police Grand Commissioner Juwari said.
To follow up on the order of Chief of North Maluku Regional Police regarding the implementation of Minister of Home Affairs regulation Number 25 and 26 Year 2021, command posts will be built in markets in Ternate, such as Hygienic Market Command Post, Gamalama Market, Kota Baru Market and Bastiong. This step is an anticipation to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in North Maluku in general, and in Ternate, that in this case to help Ternate Regional Police.
Task of the post is to filter and limit number of visitors in market as well as to carry out patrols and control of health protocols in and around the market which is center of crowd. Therefore, North Maluku Regional Police deployed Task Force that is part of Aman Nusa II Safe Operation to carry out large-scale patrol in Ternate City.
"From the three red zones, it must continue to be controlled regarding the implementation of health protocols and the distribution of social assistance and masks," Head of Operational Bureau of North Maluku Regional Police concluded.
