Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Tanjung Selor. North Kalimantan Regional Police destroys methamphetamine weighed 1,596.76 gram from an underage. The substance is destroyed by dissolving water at the North Kalimantan Regional Police headquarters in Tanjung Selor, Wednesday (19/05/2021).
Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of North Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Budi Rachmanto, appreciates the success of the Drug Investigation Directorate of North Kalimantan Regional Police in capturing the drugs, which can save thousands of Indonesian lives.
The destroyed methamphetamine is a capturing result from MH, a 16-year-old dealer caught by the police in Jalan Yos Sudarso RT 014 Gang Gunung Daeng III, Tarakan District, Saturday (08/05/2021) around 15.00 local time.
The evidence's destruction was also accompanied by the District Attorney of North Kalimantan Province, the Health Department of North Kalimantan Province, the Medicine and Health Division of North Kalimantan Regional Police, and the Profession and Security Division of North Kalimantan Regional Police.
Afterwards, the evidence is destroyed by blending methamphetamine with water and witnessed by the suspect.
The suspect is subjected to article 114 paragraph 2 with the subsidiary of article 112 paragraph 2 of Law no. 35 of 2009 about Narcotics.
