Yapen, Papua - Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) of the Indonesian National Police never stops innovating. Besides the Polisi Pi Ajar and Kasuari (Welfare for the People) programmes, the new Matoa (We the Advanced Millenials) programme was launched to get college students closer to the Binmas Noken personnel through the college dorm visitation activity.
Just like the visitation conducted by Police Inspector 1st Class I Wayan Sukandia, Police Brigadier 1st Class Ramayadi Drakel, and Police Brigadier 1st Class Roy Renyaan at the college dormitory in Anatoeri subdistrict, Anatorei district, Yapen Islands regency, on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
The dormitory residents are mainly from the Mamberamo Raya regency. The presence of Binmas Noken at 10.00 local time is to share public security and order information and encouraged young generations to help National Police in maintaining public security and order in Yapen Islands.
Police Inspector 1st Class Wayan said, "Dear college students. As the future generation of the country, study seriously and do not waste your parents' effort who paid for your college in the hope that their children will be successful in the future".
Police Inspector 1st Class Wayan also reminded the students not to be easily provoked or invited by irresponsible people and not believe hoaxes because they could harm them and their families.
Advice on Covid-19 also become the talking point of the activity. "We are now in the Covis-19 pandemic situation, so please encourage the youths and community of Kainui village to always adheres to Health Protocols", Police Inspector 1st Class Wayan.
Afterwards, the students stated their commitments and thanked the Police for the visit and the studying motivations. They are also ready to assist Police's tasks in maintaining public security and order in the Yapen Island regency.
