Synergy and coordination with other public elements is the main thing that has to be mastered by the Police working in the region. This is what PEKA (Caring the Community Security and Order) programme by Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Unit) was built on to visit community figures such as Mr Demus Enembere.
The visit of PEKA of Binmas Noken of Tolikara was conducted on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, led by Police Inspector 1st Class Widada, Police Brigadier Petrus Hamokwarong, and Police Brigadier 1st Class Yordan Bonay, visited Mr Demus Enembere as the community figure and resident of Banggeri village, Wenam district. After arrived at the location, Binmas Noken also interacted with the people. Police Inspector 1st Class Widada thanked the acceptance of Mr Demus Enembere as the community figure and the residents of Banggeri village, Wenam district.
"I encourage the community figures and residents of Banggeri village to maintain the community security and order situation to be safe and conducive". Police Inspector 1st Class Widada encouraged the people to maintain security and order together. "Do not get influenced by misleading issues and invitations to conduct a demonstration or other things that could disturb public activities or local government services.
The neighbourhood security activity would make the people run the activities like usual. This is also advised that people could do positive activities such as working for an income, gardening, farming, making fish ponds, etc.
