Papua - Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) of Nemangkawi in Papua has the SI IPAR (Polisi Pi Ajar) programme that focuses on learning-age child development in Papua. One of them is held at the beach of Wafor Village.
The Binmas Noken personnel consisting of Police Commissioner Attendant Heru Prasmono, Police Chief Brigadier Gotlief Baab, Police Brigadier 1st Class Herman Y Purba, and Police Chief Brigadier Stevano Andries, on Friday, October 1st 2021, at 10.00, visited beach children of Wafor Village, East Supiori District, Supiori Regency.
Police Commissioner Attendant Heru Prasmono then gave snacks to 40 children of Wafor Village before starting a lesson on national insight. Binmas Noken then encourages them to sing the national anthem of Indonesian Raya and other national songs such as From Sabang to Merauke and children songs in Sunday School. Another exciting activity is Pancasila declamation and prize giving for quizzes on national insight.
The event was ended at 14.00, and beach children of Wafor Village smiled happily in the presence of Binmas Noken Task Force of Supiori. Their happiness is because of learning and playing the national insight and motherland love. These activities make the Police the Friend of the Children.
