Noken Community Development Unit of Indonesian National Police Supports Cultivation of Orchid through Kasuari Programme

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Papua. Papuan orchid is one of the main commodities in decorative plants. Mrs Blandina Were, as the cultivator of the Papuan orchid, became the attention of the Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) of Merauke through KASUARI Programme (Welfare for the People). The support centralised at the farmers, cultivators, and other people that in a concrete developing economy in Papua.
Police Commissioner Attendant Makruf Suroto, Police Sub-Inspector Second Class Sudoko, and Police Chief Brigadier Lutfi Eko AP, which are in the Merauke Binmas Noken, visited the orchid cultivation spot of Mrs Blandina Were on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 10.00-11.30, at the orchid cultivation spot of Wasur village, Merauke regency.
During the visit, Mrs Blandina Were was deemed inspirational because she is a mom who is beneficial for her family and neighbourhood. Police Commissioner Attendant Makruf hoped that Mrs Blandina also encouraged and invited other Papuans to cultivate orchids or any profitable business so that they could help their family during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mrs Blandina Were thanked the Binmas Noken personnel of Merauke Departmental Police who have visited her orchid cultivation spot to provide support and a business partn
