Noken Community Development Unit of Indonesian National Police and Their Contribution to the Education of Children in Puncak Jaya, Papua

Papua - Kids are the future of the nation. This fact makes the Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) of the Indonesian National Police focus public service on the improvement of education quality for the Papuan children who have limited access to education. Through the SI IPAR (The Teaching Police) programme, Binmas Noken of Puncak Jaya play and learn with the tens of children of Pagaleme Inpres Elementary School of Puncak Jaya regency.

The activity was conducted on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 09.00 - 10.00, in the courtyard of Puncak Jaya Departmental Police. Police Inspector First Class Alaudin Patawary (Chief of Regional Coordinator of Binmas Noken of Puncak Jaya), Police Brigadier First Class Odesua Kiding (Binmas Noken Task Force), Police Brigadier Mustakim (PR Task Force of Nemangkawi of Puncak Jaya), and Police Brigadier Second Class Lafry Hasan brought happiness and learning together for the kids of Pagaleme Inpres Elementary School.

The activity was started by the introduction of Police Brigadier Second Class Lafry Hasan to the kids and the distribution of drawing books to kids of Pagaleme Inpres Elementary School. Police Brigadier Second Class Lafry then taught kids national songs such as Indonesia Raya and 17 Agustus and taught the importance of reading.

As a spirit booster, Police Brigadier Second Class Lafry Hasan gave gifts of stationery, books, and candies to the kids attending the SI IPAR activity at the courtyard of Puncak Jaya Departmental Police so that kids keep their spirit in the SI IPAR activity and grow the love for the motherland.
