Brigadier Rino showed his noble attitude as a public servant by using his private car carrying an elderly citizen who wanted to be vaccinated on Saturday (12/2/22).
An elderly named Mariyah, 75, is a resident of Burujul Kulon Village, Jatiwangi District, Majalengka Regency, whom he helped to get vaccinated at the Jatiwangi Health Center.
Mariyah was senile, so Brigadier Rino had to take her in his own car. The vaccine was carried out in the car considering that the elderly mother was unable to walk.
A member of the Babhinkamtibmas of Polsek Jatiwangi said that he deliberately picked up Mariyah to Jatiwangi health center to undergo the Covid-19 vaccination.
“I picked Mariyah with my own car because none of her family could take her to get her vaccine,” said Brigadier Rino, adding that he did not seek any attention when doing this noble act.
All of that has become the responsibility of a public servant considering that Brigadier Rino is the Babhinkamtibmas of Brujul Kulon Village. Other than protectors, the Police are also public servants.
“I did it not for praise. It has become our responsibility to serve the community," said Brigadier Rino.
On the other hand, the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo S.I.K., M.Sc., appreciated the actions of Brigadier Rino who showed his dedication to serving the community.
"Thank you for accelerating the process so that the vaccination does not have to wait long," said the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police.
"His actions of carrying elderly people and using his private cars to get vaccinated is a form of concern to speed up and facilitate vaccination, so he is not looking for praise," said Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo S.I.K., M.Sc.,
