Nerve-Wracking Simulation: FPU 3 MINUSCA of Indonesian National Police Faces Terror, Firearms, Bomb Explosions, until Demonstration Action

Personnel of the Formed Police Unit (FPU) 3 MINUSCA (United Nations Mission Integrated Multidimensional Stabilization in the Central African Republic) stands firmly in their full uniform with firearms in their grip. They line up tidily and swiftly checks everyone passing. Suddenly, one person comes staggeringly and bring a bottle of liquor in their hand. When this person was being checked, the person was angry and attacked the personnel. Some personnel then immediately move fast and arrest the person under the influence. Not only that but the Garuda Team of the Indonesian National Police (Garuda Polri team) also anticipate the demonstration participant to avoid chaos. There are also bombing, terror and gunfire that makes the tense situation. The situation was occurred at the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps Training and Education Centre at Serpong, South Tangerang, on Saturday (21/8/2021). Those situations are the simulation conducted by the FPU 3 MINUSCA team, consisted of 152 Police personnel, 18 of which are policewomen. They are prepared to carry the noble task in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the conflict region of the Central African Republic. The plan is, on September 2021, the Garuda Polri team would depart to the country to maintain peace in the Central African Republic for one year. Chief of International Relations Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Johni Asadoma, along with Chief of International Mission Bureau of International Relations Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Brigadier General Krishna Murti, and other high-ranking officials witnessed the security simulation by FPU 3 MINUSCA personnel. Those include two examiners and UN envoys, Colonel Dridi Aymen from Tunisia and First Lieutenant Top Penda from Senegal, who saw the simulation. "This team (FPU 3 MINUSCA) has been training for one year. Their abilities in peacekeeping are examined by the UN special team. I saw that their physical and skills in many aspects are exceptional. Their equipment is complete and ready to carry out this noble task of world peacekeeping. They will depart in September to the Central African Republic", Johni Asadoma said on location. "Indonesian National Police has been trusted for a long time to join the peacekeeping movements. This effort is greatly appreciated by local government and the UN so that until now our contingent (Indonesian National Police) keep being rotated to maintain peace in the conflict regions", he continued. Johni said that the contribution of the Garuda Polri team (FPU) is significant in the UN's peacekeeping missions. Therefore, Indonesian National Police must continuously maintain and train its personnel's ability from all regions and units. "I witness directly today that they show their resilience and readiness in conducting this mission. Their required ability by the UN is in accordance with their standards. They are exceptional and ready. I am proud and highly appreciated them. Later, they would be tested on the real ground of the Central African Republic. However, I think they are really ready", he said. After simulation, Chief of International Relations Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Johni Asadoma, would inaugurate all personnel of FPU 3 MINUSCA of Indonesian National Police in Lampung Bay, Tegal Mas Island, for six days, started on next Tuesday (24/8/2021).
