National Police Give 2,000 Basic Food Assistance to Farmers in Pandeglang

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Banten. The Traffic Corps assisted residents affected by the Level 2 Implementation of Community Activity Restriction Enforcement (PPKM). A total of 2,000 food packages were given to farmworkers in Sukamanah Village, Kaduhejo District, Pandeglang, Banten.

The Traffic Director, Pol. Inspector General Istiono said that this assistance was to help people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The National Police Headquarter said that this area is included in the yellow zone, which means that the conditions are starting to improve. Based on his observations, the people in this village also obey the health protocols (Prokes).

In Sukamanah Village, Pandeglang Regency, Banten, we distributed approximately 2,000 food packages to our fellow farmworkers here. Conditions that are starting to improve are a synergy of all, from the government, village officials, and the community who maintain the progress. Regarding vaccination in Sukamanah Village, 40 percent have also been carried out and are considered very good.

Meanwhile, the Head of Tandur Sukamanah Labor, Asarip Sihabudin, said he was happy to get help from the Police. According to him, this assistance is very helpful for the people in Sukamanah Village, who are farmers in the fields every day. According to him, during the COVID-19 pandemic, turnover decreased greatly, grain prices fell, while fertilizers rose.

"I am very happy to receive this assistance, many of our people cannot afford to be farmers on a daily basis. Especially now that the tandur season is over, so the work is reduced. We as a community who received the assistance say a big thank you to the Police.
