Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jayapura. The National Police and Jasa Raharja, Ltd (member of Indonesia Financial Group (IFG)) held vaccination and social aid distribution in Entrop bus terminal, Jayapura.
This activity is conducted in commemorating the 76th Indonesian independence anniversary and also accelerating herd immunity. The vaccination was given to 300 drivers, and Jasa Raharja also distributed 100 basic necessities packages.
The event was attended by Chief of Traffic Coordinator of National Police, Police Inspector General Istiono; President Director of Jasa Raharja, Ltd., Rivan A Purwantono; Director of Law Enforcement of Traffic Coordinator of National Police, Police Brigadier General Kushariyanto; Operational Director of Jasa Raharja, Ltd., Dewi Aryani Suzana; Head of Service Division of Jasa Raharja, Ltd., Haryo Pamungkas; Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Eko Rudi Sudarto; Director of Traffic of Papua Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Mohammad; and Head of the Papua Branch of Jasa Raharja, Ltd., Tamrin Silalahi.

President Director of Jasa Raharja, Ltd., Rivan A Purwantono, said that the participation of Jasa Raharja in pushing vaccination in Papua is the Jasa Raharja's contribution in supporting the national vaccination programme. Several parties are involved besides Jasa Raharja in this programme, such as Armed Forces, Police, Medicine and Health Agency of National Police, Directorate of Traffic, and student organisations.
"I appreciate the public enthusiasm of Jayapura who participate in the vaccination programme. I also hope that after vaccination, people stay discipline in implementing Health Protocols such as wearing a face mask, keeping distance, and avoiding crowds", Rivan Achmad said when inspecting the Vaccination Outlets programme in Entrop bus terminal, Jayapura, on Friday (13/8/2021).
Furthermore, he added that Jasa Raharja had been held Merdeka-JRku vaccination programmes in other cities such as Malang, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Serang, Surakarta, Bengkulu, Jakarta (headquarter office and Kramat Jati office), and Depok as the synergy cooperation with many parties such as Medicine and Health Agency of National Police. These for-public vaccination events would be held across the archipelago.
"Vaccination is important as our effort to suppress Covid-19 transmission. The vaccination also expected to raise awareness about the importance of getting vaccinated and ease the public, so they do not have to go too far to be vaccinated", he said.
On the same occasion, Jasa Raharja also distributed 100 basic necessities packages, handed over symbolically by the President Director of Jasa Raharja to the representatives and general public. This social aid package is a form of care from Jasa Raharja to people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jasa Rahaja, as one of the state-owned enterprises that operate on basic protection programmes for public transport passengers and road traffic accidents, is always actively involved in enhancing public welfare and health through the Social and Environment Responsibility programme.
