Deputy of Law and Cooperation of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Police Inspector General Puji Sarwono and the Head of East Java Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP), Police Brigadier General Mohamad Aris Purnomo, held a meeting with Chief of the East Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nico Afinta Karo-Karo in the lobby of the Tribrata building, East Java Regional Police Thursday (7/10/2021) afternoon.
"This gathering is in the context of coordination, related to the synergy and consolidation of the Prevention, Eradication of Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN) Program in the East Java Region, the step is to establish a Drug Clean Village (Bersinar)," said Police Inspector General Nico Afinta Karo-Karo.
The methods applied are preemptive and preventive patterns of prevention, repressive measures with communication, coordination, and collaboration between the East Java BNNP, the Drug Director of the East Java Regional Police and religious leaders, and local community leaders implementation is more effective and efficient.
It is hoped that with this gathering, the synergy between the East Java Regional Police with the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency and the East Java BNNP can be realized so that efforts to eradicate narcotics in East Java can run well and achieve the target.
This gathering took place in an orderly and safe condition while still adhering to health protocols.
