Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. National Armed Forces Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin directly inspected the mass vaccination of the community ahead of Bhayangkara's birthday on July 1.
The activity was held at Bhayangkara Field, South Jakarta, Thursday (06/24/2021). They directly observed the community vaccination process starting from the registration stage, injection to post-vaccine observation.
We do this activity in order to welcome the momentum of Bhayangkara Day, said Sigit at a press conference at the location.
According to Sigit, this activity is also an effort to implement a vaccination program of one million doses per day as directed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"In accordance with the President's direction, in order to carry out a mass vaccination program to reach 1 million a day, we from the police force joined the National Armed Forces and of course our colleagues at the Health Office carried out mass vaccinations simultaneously," said the former Banten Regional Police Chief
The former National Police Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency revealed that today there are 2,100 points that carry out mass vaccinations. That way, Sigit hopes that by the end of June 2021, the one million vaccine a day program can be realized.
"Our hope is that according to the President's direction at the end of June, we will reach 1 million. On the 26th we will carry out a simultaneous activity. We hope that on that date we can achieve that, therefore we must be able to carry out the program and we can maintain our hope in the next week. In the future, we can improve," said Sigit.
Similarly, the National Armed Forces Commander stated that, to achieve President Jokowi's target, the National Armed Forces, National Police and the Health Service would hold a mass vaccination program at central points of society.
We carry out simultaneous vaccinations carried out by the National Armed Forces and National Police, besides that the National Police itself in remote areas such as District Military Command., Military Headquarters at The Ward Level, Air Force Base, also carry out activities simultaneously. If the area there is also a National Armed Forces and National Police unit and the Health Office then carried out together. We hope that 1 million per day can be realized if we carry out simultaneously. And we see, God willing, everything can be realized, Hadi said on the same occasion.
Meanwhile, Minister of Health Budi expressed his appreciation to the National Armed Forces and National Police who are trying to realize a vaccination program for the community in order to prevent Covid-19 or the corona virus.
"Once again, pursuing the figure of 1 million injections per day is impossible to do alone, we have to work together to do it. And I am proud to see the National Armed Forces and National Police to be able to help us together," said Budi.
