National Armed Forces Commander and National Police Chief Review Mass Vaccination of Seafarers to Tanjung Priok Port Workers

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. National Armed Forces Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reviewed mass vaccinations at Tanjung Priok Port, Wednesday (06/23/2021).

"This vaccination was attended by 5,000 people who are maritime communities. "Vaccinators from the National Armed Forces and National Police and the Health Office target sailors, truck drivers, loading and unloading workers and port workers," Sigit said in a written statement.

The former Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police emphasized that this mass vaccination program was carried out to suppress the spread of COVID-19, in addition to the implementation of the Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia. "To stop the spread of COVID-19 by implementing Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia and mass vaccination," he said.

In addition to reviewing the mass vaccination program at Tanjung Priok Port, the two National Armed Forces and National Police leaders also reviewed the Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia in Marunda Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta.

During this visit, the National Armed Forces Commander and the National Police Chief had a dialogue with the Sector Police, Military District Command, Village Advisory Officer, Security and Public Order and village health officers regarding the safety of residents who had just returned home, as well as handling residents exposed to COVID-19.
