Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bandar Lampung. Chairman of Indonesian Clerics Council (MUI) of Lampung, Moh Mukri, supports the arrest of several terrorist suspects by the Counterterrorism Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) of Indonesian National Police a while ago in Lampung.
"I really support actions taken by the government, in this context Densus 88, to eradicate terrorism perpetrators in Lampung", he said in Bandar Lampung on Sunday (7/11/2021).
According to him, the government must conduct preventive and repressive actions because the terrorism perpetrators harm Indonesia.
"Therefore, what Densus 88 has done should be supported. If necessary, the government could cooperate with MUI, NU, Muhammadiyah, and other community organisations to firmly punish the terrorists and charity boxes", he said.
The Chairman of MUI Lampung advises all people to be careful in studying religion. It is best to study it to the true teacher and accompanied by family.
"That does not mean we cannot learn religion, but emphasising on learning to the correct teacher and accompanied by family", he continued.
The same thing was also said by Regional Leadership Council Chairman of Preacher Association of Indonesian Mosque Council, Gus Dimyati. He also supports the firm actions of the Densus 88 team.
Related to charity boxes, he advised that people be careful in donating. If possible, people could donate directly to be more blessed and could be prayed for.
"Because information spreads across the law enforcement personnel that their assets are worth billions of rupiah. So if you want to donate, either online or to the charity boxes, make sure if the foundation has integrity, credibility, and permitted by Social Agency", he said.
