Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, asked unvaccinated people to be banned from entering public and economic activity centres.
Chief of Indonesian National Police stated it when inspecting vaccination, social aid and oxygen refill vouchers held by 1995 Police Academy Alumni (Patriatama) in Bina Sarana Informatika (BSI) University in Bekasi, West Java, on Friday (3/9/2021).
"Regions provided with relaxation policies on economic activity would be subjected to PeduliLindungi application so people who have the application must scan the barcode so their vaccination status would appear. This would be our habit for the future to the public that people could conduct some activities as long as they are at least vaccinated". Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, said.
Chief of Indonesian National Police stated that active cases are kept decreasing. According to him, this decrease is due to the hard work and synergy of all elements, increasing public enthusiast on vaccination, and implementing strict Health Protocols.
With the level downgrade, there would be relaxation on public mobility for daily activities. We must maintain this decreasing Covid cases and death statistics and increasing recovery rate so we have to adapt to this relaxation by implementing Health Protocols, and other strategies such as increased immunity and vaccination", the former Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police said.
Furthermore, Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, hoped that, in the future, those activity centres could implement such policy, so people need to show their vaccination proof as activity requirement.
Therefore, the Chief of the Indonesian National Police encourages people to get vaccinated to enhance their immunity. "On this occasion, I would like to say that after vaccination, people should keep wearing masks. For the ones unvaccinated, let's get vaccinated", Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, said.
On the other side, Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, delivered his appreciation to the 1995 Police Academy Alumni who held the mass vaccination acceleration to achieve one day two million vaccine doses target from President Joko Widodo.
Vaccine stocks prepared in this event are 41,000 doses from Sinovac. There are also 27,000 basic necessities packages, 1,000 portions of soup kitchens, and 2,200 oxygen refill vouchers from Samator Ltd that would be distributed to the people.
