Mobile Brigade Unit of North Sumatera Regional Police Guarded the Arrival of Astra Zeneca Vaccine to Health Agency of North Sumatera Province Warehouse

Located at the Cargo terminal of Kualanamu International Airport, Mobile Brigade Unit of North Sumatera Regional Police equipped with weapons and tactical vehicles picked up Astra Zeneca (AZ) vaccine then escorted to Pharmacy warehouse of Health Agency of North Sumatera Province at M Yamin Street Number 41A Medan.
Head of Operation of Mobile Brigade Unit of North Sumatera Regional Police, Police Commissioner Heriyono said AZ vaccine that arrived was 3 Koli with content of 14,500 doses.

“The vaccine arrived at Cargo Terminal at 16.00 Indonesia Western Time. The vaccines were brought by Garuda GA-118 aircraft and immediately moved to Pharmacy Warehouse of Health Agency of North Sumatera Province under strict escort by Mobile Brigade personnels," Head of Operation of Mobile Brigade Unit of North Sumatera Regional Police explained.

He said the escort was led by Deputy Head of Sub-Detachment of Bomb Difusion of Gegana Detachment, Police First Lieutenant Budi Setiawan, and during he vaccine escort, everything ran safely and smoothly.

"The Sinovac vaccine arrived at Pharmacy Warehouse of North Sumatra Provincial Health Agency at 17:10 Indonesia Eastern Time, and was received by Mrs. Hotma Naibaho and Mr. Reza as Assistant Managers of Pharmacy Warehouse of North Sumatera Province Health Agency," Head of Operation of Mobile Brigade Unit of North Sumatera Regional Police explained.

The vaccine will be recorded by Health Agency, then will be distributed to areas that will receive vaccination.
"Later, it will be distributed according to instructions by central government so people get vaccinated as antibody to prevent Covid-19," Head of Operation of Mobile Brigade Unit of North Sumatera Regional Police mentioned.
