Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bandung. Gegana Detachment of the Mobile Brigade Unit of West Java Regional Police, in cooperation with the Coal Power Plant of Sukabumi (PLTU Sukabumi), held simulation of the bomb terror handling for all employees and staff of PLTU Sukabumi on Monday (01/11/2021).
This activity aims to be an effort to provide an image of the danger of the bomb terror threat. On the other side, this simulation also the evacuation method education for the employee of PLTU Sukabumi if there are real life-threatening threats.
On this activity, the employees received materials and basic knowledge on bomb danger and what to do when a bomb terror threat is on the way. Then the session continued with simulation and handling the ready-to-explode bomb in the said location.
Chief of Bomb Disposal Unit, Police Inspector First Class Seno Sujatmiko, said that he keeps helping people to be aware of the bom terror threat, especially the national vital objects such as PLTU Sukabumi.
"There are still bomb terror threats in Indonesia and their targets are not only Armed Forces-Police personnel but also national vital objects. I hope that this activity could make security forces of PLTU Sukabumi more aware and understand the bomb threat", he said.
On a separate place, the Commander of the Mobile Brigade Unit of West Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Yuri Karsono, added that this activity is one of the police's care and the service of the Mobile Brigade Unit of West Java Regional Police for the public.
"This is our form of service by the Mobile Brigade Unit of West Java Regional Police, in this context, Sukabumi and surrounding regions, to create a safe and comfortable situation", Police Grand Commissioner Yuri Karsono said.
