inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Head of the Metro Jaya Regional Police (Kapolda Metro Jaya) Inspector General (Irjen) Dr. Drs. H. Mohammad Fadil Imran, M.Sc., said that the Crowd Free Night (CFN) policy in the DKI Jakarta area will continue to be implemented until the case of Covid-19 deflation.
According to Kapolda Metro Jaya, the police apply CFN to suppress the mobility of residents while preventing crowds that have the potential to cause an outbreak of Covid-19.
"Indeed, those who hang out are mostly young people and daily cases based on age are mostly young people," said Fadil in his statement, Monday (7/2/22).
Kapolda did not explain in detail how long the policy would be enforced. He said that the CFN would be in effect until cases of Covid-19 transmission began to drop.
Kapolda ensured that the implementation of CFN in just several areas of Jakarta would not disrupt economic activity.
"This policy is not counter-productive to economic growth and micro-medium enterprises. Because this policy began at 00.00," concluded the former East Java Regional Police Chief.
