Metro Jaya Police Chief (Kapolda) Inspector General (Inspektor) Fadil Imran is committed to taking firm action against anyone who violates the quarantine law.
This statement was released after his visits to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Wednesday (02/02/22).
“We will also do our best so ther would be no more violation, for the security and safety of the society,” explained the Two-Star General.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) previously asked the National Police (Polri) to thoroughly investigate the alleged quarantine mafia during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The request was made amid the re-escalation of Covid-19 cases. Moreover, the spread of the Omicron variant is known for how contagious it is, even though it has mild symptoms.
