Therefore, all Departmental Police personnel under the Gorontalo Regional Police are deployed to mobilise people to be willing to get vaccinated in order to accelerate vaccination and achieve herd immunity faster in this province as well.
"Therefore, it is the Community Police Unit's task, so people are willing to get vaccinated at Police's vaccination outlets", Chief of Gorontalo Regional Police, Police Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus, said in his press release on Monday (30/8).
According to the Chief of Regional Police, Police's vaccine outlets spread across the area of Gorontalo Regional Police are ready to serve the people. Chief of Regional Police has instructed his personnel to help the government in accelerating vaccination to the people.
"We are hoping for the pray and support from the colleagues of Regional Leaders Communication Forum of Gorontalo province to help Gorontalo Regional Police make the mass vaccination programme a success", the Chief of Regional Police said.
To motivate his personnel, the Chief of Regional Police goes on the ground to inspect all Departmental Police of Gorontalo Regional Police. Every day, the number one person of the Gorontalo Regional Police observes vaccination events held by the Police and cooperates with all public elements.
Vaccination events inspected by the Chief of Regional Police started from students, college students, workers to the general public. "Gorontalo Regional Police personnel will never be tired of vaccinating Gorontalo people to achieve health and free Covid-19 Gorontalo", Chief of Regional Police said.
The last weekend, on Saturday (28/8), Gorontalo Regional Police held mass vaccination in Karya field of Datahu village, Tibawa district, Gorontalo regency. Then he continued to another similar event in the front of Buhu village administration office, Tibawa district, Gorontalo regency.
Hundreds of residents in this village enthusiastically attend the vaccination event attended by the regent of Gorontalo, Nelson Pomalingo. "Thank you for the public participation in this mass vaccination programme", Chief of Regional Police added.
