Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Through its PR and Press Division, Indonesian National Police addresses statements and explanations again related to the supervision mechanism of the Liga 1 national football competition.
In the statement delivered by Chief of General Information Bureau of PR and Press Division of National Police, Police Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, it said that the Salus Populi Suprema Lex Esto would be the primary principle of Police during duties. "It is indeed that the Police holds on to Salus Populi Suprema Lex Esto. People's health is the highest law. Every Police's resources and efforts are focused on how this safety towards the public is maintained", Chief of General Information Bureau of PR and Press Division of National Police said.
The spokesperson for the National Police also addressed that Police has identified several vulnerabilities that might happen when the football competition is commenced. "Regarding this football competition, Police has identified vulnerabilities that might arise during the commencement of the competition such as watching together events", the National Police spokesperson said.
"Certainly, our Police units in the regions have mapped locations/regions that are usually used by the football fans to watch together. Our units have mapped those places to observe the vulnerable areas prone to be a place for watching the match together", Chief of General Information Bureau of PR and Press Division of National Police concluded.
