The Lampung Regional Police gave an award to a parking attendant who thwarted an armed theft of a motorbike on Jalan Kimaja, Sepang City, Bandar Lampung.
The parking attendant is Taufik Darmawan (58), a resident of Tanjung Seneng.
Deputy Chief of the Lampung Police (Wakapolda Lampung) Brigadier General Drs. Subiyanto said the Regional Police gave an award to the parking attendant, Taufik Darmawan (58) of Tanjung Seneng, for his heroic action.
"The Lampung Police really appreciate the courage of Mr. Taufik. Although there were two armed perpetrators, he managed to intercept and thwart the theft," said Wakapolda Lampung when giving the award to Taufik Darmawan at the Lampung Police Headquarters, Monday (14/2/22) morning.
Wakapolda Lampung hoped that the others would have the same courage as Mr. Taufik Darmawan.
“The National Police really appreciate the courage from the people. If there is someone who thwarted any crimes, they will be rewarded by the Regional Police Chief,” explained the former Head of the Human Resources Bureau of Central Java Police.
Taufik did not expect he would be given a reward for his bravery
"Thank you very much Police Chief Hendro Sugiatno for the gifts and awards given to me," said Taufik.
