Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Papua. The head of the Jayawijaya Regency Religious Harmony Forum, Pastor Kornelis, appealed to the people of Wamena to maintain harmony. This was conveyed after the arson incident which occurred due to the issue of child kidnapping.
"We urge the whole community to maintain security, togetherness, and harmony so that all can build together with the community," said Kornelis, Friday (2/24/23).
He expressed his regret over the incident that claimed the lives of the victims.
"Whatever the motive for the incident, as residents living in Wamena, we must maintain togetherness and harmony so that all can move and work with one another," he said.
Kornelis hopes that this incident will not be repeated. He believes that Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) - Indonesian National Police (Polri) can thoroughly investigate the case and maintain security.
