Katingan Ready to Combat Forest burn, Chief of Central Kalimantan Police Checks Personnel Preparedness and Facilities

Chief of Central Kalimantan Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, conducted a field check on the readiness of Katingan Regency personnel and infrastructure in handling forest and land fires which took place in Kereng Humbang, Kasongan City, Katingan Regency.


On this occasion, the Regional Police Chief was accompanied directly by the Provincial Secretary of Central Kalimantan Fahrizal Fitri, Commander of Military 102 Panju Panjung Colonel Czi Wakhyono, Inspectorate Supervision Regional Police Grand Commissioner Iman Prijantoro, as well as the main officials of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police.


Chief of Regional Police through the Head of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner K. Eko Saputro, said that this check aims to see the preparedness of the infrastructure to be used in dealing with forest and land fires in Katingan Regency and the ability of personnel to operate them.


"I hope that with the holding of routine checks and exercises, we can be sure that Katingan will be free from Forest Fire in 2021," said Head of PR.


Furthermore, the Head of PR also said that on this occasion the Chief of Regional Police and his entourage also provided assistance in the form of Alkon machines, hoses and portable sprays that can be used in handling forest and land fires later.
