KASUARI Programme of Noken Community Development Unit Reaches Merauke

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Papua. The KASUARI Programme (Welfare for the People) aims to develop the economy and wellbeing of Papuan natives. The sectors such as farming, fisheries, agriculture, trading, and creative industries are supported by Community Army and Police Unit until the smallest society level, just like conducted by the Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) of Merauke.

Police Commissioner Attendant Makruf Suroto, Police Sub-Inspector Second Class Sudoko, and Police Chief Brigadier Lutfi Eko AP, as the personnel of Binmas Noken of Merauke, assistant chicken farming on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 09.30, in the house of the residents of Tambat village, Tanah Miring district, Merauke regency.

The assistance was conducted at the chicken farming spot owned by Mr Petrus Gebze in Tambat village, Tanah Miring district, Merauke regency.

Police Commissioner Attendant Makruf Suroto explained that Binmas Noken personnel provided support and advised Mr Petrus to encourage other Papuan residents to follow Mr Petrus's step, farming chicken.

Binmas Noken personnel also advised Mr Petrus Gebze to focus on his business of chicken farming and encourage his relatives or neighbours to do any company that could make a profit and help the family economy during the Covid-19 pandemic, so they have to keep working to fulfil living needs.

Besides interviewing, Binmas Noken personnel also gave chicken feeds such as bran and groats to Mr Petrus Gebze. They also advised him to stay healthy to anticipate the third wave of the new variant of Covid-19.

Mr Petrus Gebze positively responded to the assistance and thanked the Binmas Noken personnel of Merauke Departmental Police for the support as the business partner.
