inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chief of the National Police Food Task Force (Kasatgas Polri) Inspector General (Polri) Helmy Santika ensured that the stock availability of basic necessities ahead of Ramadhan is safe.
"In the coordination meeting, the current stock conditions, distribution availability and prices of basic necessities, such as rice, sugar, beef, chicken, eggs and cooking oil are sufficient," Kasatgas Polri, Thursday (24/2/22).
Irjen Helmy said that the meeting was the first step to ensure basic necessities are sufficient to prevent panic buying that is often happening in the community.
“Do not panic and avoid buying things too much, especially amidst the pandemic,” adds Kasatgas Polri.
Kasatgas Polri also said that this meeting would continue in the future. He said that he would invite several stakeholders such as regulators and producers to know for sure the proportion of distribution and supply.
"There should not be a price fluctuation," he explained.
