General Listyo And Admiral Yudo Led Operation Lilin 2022 Rally

Ready in securing Christmas and New Year Eve, the Indonesian National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo, along with the Commander of the Indonesian Army, Admiral Yudo Margono, led the rally of Operation Lilin 2022 in National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, Thursday (12/22).

The rally was also attended by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy, the Acting Governor of Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, to the Head of National Search and Rescue Agency, Air Marshal of Indonesian Army Henri Alfiandi.

In his remarks, General Listyo stated that the rally is part of preparation fro the officials and its supporting equipments. Through this rally, it is expected that the operation would run optimally and able to realize a safe and secure Christmas and New Year Eve.

General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that there would hundred of thousands personnel ready to secure the December holiday season.

There will be 166,322 personnel that will be dispatched on 1,845 security posts, 695 service posts, and and 89 integrated posts, in order to secure 52,636 security objects. All of those have been prepared to ensure the security of Christmas and New Year Eve, so that people would safely enjoy their holidays, as commanded by the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

“I asked all personnel to be ready in anticipating all disturbances that may occur during Christmas and New Year Eve,” says the Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

He adds that the operation would be held for 11 days, from 23rd December to January 2nd 2023, continued by enhanced routine activity from January 3rd, to January 9th. He hopes that the operation would bring a sense of comfort and safety to the people.

“I remind you all to make this operation to be something that you should be proud of. Therefore, you shall do it with full sense of responsibility, professional, humanely, and understand it well what is your duty on the field,” says the Indonesian Police Chief.
