South Sulawesi Police Chief Led Rally for Operation Lilin 2022

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The Head of South Sulawesi Police, Inspector General Nana Sudjana, led the Operation Lilin rally as Christmas and New Year holidays looms. The rally was attended by Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of South Sulawesi and Makassar at Karebosi, Thursday (12/22).

He says that the rally is part of the last preparation for the operation in inspecting the personnel and it's supporting elements. It is expected that the operation could went well, so that the December Holidays would goes safe and conducively. The Operation would goes on for 11 days, from December 23rd to January 2nd, 2023.

"The Operation involve 166,322 joint personnel that will be dispatched to 1,845 security posts, 695 service posts, and 89 integrated posts in order to secure 52,636 vital obejcts throughout Indonesia. While for the South Sulawesi itself, we will deploy our 2,429 personnel, which will carrying out the mission alongside with 2,151 personnel from related institutions," says South Sulawesi Police Chief.

He continued by asking the personnel to be proud in carrying out their mission, and thus asked them to fulfill their duties with full responsibilities and fully understand to their own tasks as planned.

"I also asked you to always maintain your health and your good relationship with God. Believe what you do is part of your service to God. Put it in your heart that what you do is for the good of the communities and for the country," says South Sulawesi Police Chief in his closing remarks.
