East Nusa Tenggara Police Chief Thanks the Community for a Conducive New Year’s Eve

The celebration of Christmas and New Year’s Eve in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) went smoothly and well, as stated by NTT Police Chief, Inspector General Johanis Asadoma in Kupang, Sunday (1/1).

“I want to say thank you to all NTT community who have participated in maintaining security and order during Christmas and New Year’s Eve holiday,” says the police chief.

He also appreciated the people who heeds the appeal of not setting off the fireworks at 18:00 to 22:00. “You could light the fireworks after that hour, and it is much better if you set it off at 00:00,” he says.

As quoted from antaranews, Inspector General Johanis Asadome also grateful that there are no convoys, drunk party in the streets, or any excessive celebrations that could disturb public order.

“I also want to say thank you for the security operations of Christmas and New Year that went successfully and smoothly so that the situations is well maintained,” says the Two-Star General.
