inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General (Irjen) Fadil Imran invites street racers, garage owners, mechanics even jockeys to take their third dose Covid-19 vaccine with Metro Jaya Regional Police (Polda).
This was part of prevention steps to reduce Covid-19 case when the street race had to be temporarily postponed considering the number of Covid-19 cases had increased again, thanks to the Omicron variant.
"While we postponed these activities, it does not mean that we do not have anything positive to do. I proposed to them to take their booster with Polda Metro. They welcomed it, including the jockeys and the garage owners. But they said that if possible, they want the entire community would also be invited," said the Kapolda, Friday (4/2/22).
"Please stay calm, because we have to deal with the Omicron first. We will postpone the street race until the Covid-19 situation calms down. I implore that this message to be conveyed to the entire community," explained the Kapolda.
