Metro Jaya Police Chief (Kapolda Metro Jaya) Inspector General Fadil Imran conducted an inspection of Covid-19 vaccination at Pasar Minggu Terminal, South Jakarta, that targets street vendors to public transportation (angkot) drivers.
"At Pasar Terminal this Sunday, we will continue the inoculation of doses one, two, and boosters," said Kapolda, Friday (25/2/22).
Inspector General Fadil Imran stated that this vaccination is not only for merchants in Pasar Minggu but also for the people who work in the area, such as angkot drivers and porters.
Through this vaccination, Fadil wants to ensure that the people who work in the Pasar Minggu area are free from coronavirus. The program targets 1,000 people to be inoculated with the Covid-19 vaccine.
"I also want to ensure that this vaccination does not interfere with the activities of the merchants, buyers, and transportation drivers who are here. Today, we are targeting 1,000 people," stated Kapolda.
The Kapolda hopes that this vaccination program can continue to be carried out in places with potential crowds, one of which is the market so that in the future economic growth and security will be maintained. "Hopefully, we can maintain the economic activity, to secure our economic growth," he adds.
