inp.polri.go.id - Kalteng. To accelerate the vaccination in Central Kalimantan Province, the Central Kalimantan Police (Polda Kalteng) once again held a mass vaccination for children aged 6-11 years at Elementary School 2 Pahandut, Palangka Raya City, Wednesday (16/02/22).
Polda Kalteng, Inspector General (Irjen) Drs. Nanang Avianto, M.Sc., directly observed the activities accompanied by the Head of the Central Kalimantan Police Operations Bureau (Karoops), Commissioner Andreas Wayan Wicaksana, S.I.K., and other high officials of Polda Kalteng.
Also attended by the Military District Command 1016/Palangka Raya, Colonel Inf. Rofiq Yusuf, S. Sos. and the Principal of Elementary School 2 Pahandut.
The observation was also part of "Simultaneous Child Merdeka Vaccination in Indonesia" led by the National Police Chief General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc. by video conferencing.
Kapolda Kalteng stated that this vaccination aims to protect children from the dangers of Covid-19.
"The vaccination for children aged 6-11 years old needs to be increased so that they can study freely without fear of Covid-19. We TNI-Polri will try to support vaccinations in each region so that this program can be achieved optimally," stated The Two-Star General.
Polda Kalteng, along with other police members, strives to support the program by increasing the acceleration of vaccination for children aged 6-11 years.
Irjen Drs. Nanang Avianto, M.Sc., hopes that the goal of vaccination for children aged 6-11 years can be realized soon, to achieve herd immunity in the Central Kalimantan.
