Jambi Regional Police Chief (Kapolda), Inspector General (Irjen) Albertus Rachmad Wibowo, S.I.K., M.I.K., attended the 41st Anniversary of the Security Guard virtually, which was held in the 4th Floor Hall of the Jambi Police Headquarter, Wednesday (2/2/2022).
The theme of 41st anniversary of the security guard is “With the National Police, Security Guards are Ready to Secure the Safety of The Community and Handling of Covid-19”.
In his speech, Kapolda Jambi said that the Security Guard is an extension of the National Police to ensure security and order situation in their work environment. As the guide of the Security Guard, the Police will ensure the readiness of the Security Guard to face future tasks.
"Currently there are is 5,918 security guards in the Jambi, and there are 47 companies that provide active security unit personnel (BUJP). I sincerely thank you for the cooperation to the providers and users of the security." Jambi Police Chief explained.
The Jambi Regional Police Chief also said that the peak of the commemoration of the 41st Anniversary of the Security Guard in 2021 was still carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, so the celebration will still carried it out in a modest way by continuing to adhere the health protocols in a disciplined manner. However this do not reduce the meaning of solemnity in glorifying the Security Guard profession.
"Keep honing the capabilities of our security guards with routine exercises, both independently and coordinated by the National Police," said Kapolda Jambi.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Kapolda Jambi Brigadier General Drs. Yudawan Roswinarso, S.H., M.H., Regional Supervisory Inspectorate Polda Jambi Commissioner Drs. Raden Heru Prakoso., Chairman of the Regional Management Board of the Jambi Security Service Business Association (BPDABUJAPI JAMBI) Neti Sumarni., Chair of the Indonesian Security Professionals Association (DPD APSI JAMBI) Eryanto DJunaidi., as well as the Jambi Regional Police Chief Officials and representatives of the Security Guard members.
